Me Made May 2020 Recap

Goodness. Is June already over?! This year has flown by in a blink of an eye. Where has the time gone?! My son is now 3 (what?!) and my baby girl is already 10mo. I can’t handle this!

I’ve been meaning to get around to sharing this recap for…about a month, so I figured I probably should just sit down and get it done! I originally shared my Me Made May attire on instagram. I am happy to say that I successfully went through all of May wearing at least one thing memade everyday of the month. I only had a few duplicates, but still wore at least one different thing everyday. I call this a win! I also made my children participate as much as possible. If you are curious how I did last year, you can see the 2019 recap HERE.

Whew! What a month that was! We also ended up going to Utah for a week (total spur of the moment and we decided to go THE DAY we left. Scott took Max to the park, came home and said “Let’s go to Utah!” and then we left that night…it’s just too hot here). Last year I didn’t tally up any results but I’m totally curious this time around, so here goes nothing! Tops: 22 Bottoms: 16 (shorts: 6 pants: 10) Dresses: 3 (with churches closed, there was a lot less dresses/skirts this year)

Not too bad eh? I definitely could use more shorts, t-shirt dresses and solid t-shirts. I think there should be a Me Made November, that way, I have a chance to wear more hoodies, joggers and cardigans and those in the southern hemisphere can wear their summer clothes. Win/win?!

But there you have it. Not a bad month at all. Next year will be even better, since I’ll have even more memade clothes. Maybe my kids will be able to more fully participate too!

Happy Sewing!

Cheers!
